Whose on trial?
Sitting silently in the court Jay is aware he is being watched; not everyone is there just to see Elise take the stand. Still, he manages to contact her and arrange a nighttime rendezvous to pass on what he has discovered and offer his help. When Elise spells out the depth of her involvement in this case and her relationship with Thomas Cole, Jay realises that it is not Elise who should be worried about ruthless men.
Shocked and bewildered, Jay wonders whether he will be able to get through to Elise’s lawyer with the truth or is he fighting a losing battle that will result in just one winner? He has to act to save his own life as he comes face to face with a man holding a gun. A high speed chase and a run in with the police leave him with one last card to play; a wild shot but it’s Jay’s only hope of victory.
