Whose friend are you?

Best Mystery - An American Spy 1

Zhu has stepped out of line. Not usually a problem for him, for someone in Chinese Intelligence. He has neutralised one of America’s crack Secret Service teams – the Tourists. That name? Because they can go anywhere, and they do. They visit; complete their assignment without fear or favour. Now Zhu’s detractors – ambitious and envious men – have the perfect opportunity to take him down.

Best Mystery - An American Spy 2

Killing ‘Tourists’ was never authorised. To Chinese Intelligence insiders that major operation against the USA, no matter how swiftly it was carried out, looks to have been motivated by revenge – personal revenge by Xin Zhu for the killing of his son. And for his enemies, that charge alone would be enough for Xin Zhu to lose his job. He has however done nothing to help his cause by also claiming that there is an American run mole inside their own organisation. Now the pressure is on to prove that and restore his reputation by whatever means he has at his disposal.
